Mission Aahaar

"If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one"-Mother Teresa.

Hunger is still one of the most pervasive societal ills. Hunger and malnutrition are natural foes that prevent a person from sleeping effectively. We still have hunger difficulties in the twenty-first century. The main cause of hunger in India is widespread poverty. It's hard to believe, yet 20% of India's population lives on less than Rs. 30/- every day! Forget about food; with this much money, one can't understand how a person would feed himself, acquire medicine, shop for groceries, or do anything else???

It's not that there isn't enough food on the planet to feed everyone, but there is so much food waste that those who are already hungry are unable to feed themselves and their family properly healthy meals. One of the key reasons why a large section of our people is still malnourished is because of this.

Children, pregnant women, and the majority of people who go to sleep without eating are among those who face challenges as a result of food scarcity at Mission Aahaar. As a result, undernourishment and malnutrition develop, eventually contributing to societal ill health.

A healthy mind, as they say, resides in a healthy body. However, this proverb will only be true if no one goes to bed hungry. When everyone makes an effort to share their food with those who are most in need. When we all hold ourselves equally responsible for not wasting food and teach everyone around us that sharing would not reduce their quantities but will eventually spread happiness throughout the world, we will have achieved our goal.
